During my recent trip to Hotel Palau Macelli, I found myself completely enchanted by its blend of modern comfort and historical charm. Nestled by the stunning Santa Maria Basilica, the hotel served as a perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Costa Brava and its hidden gems, like the magical wetlands of L'Empordà and Cap de Creus. The restoration has been done with such care, making it a stylish retreat that feels both elegant and welcoming. I especially adored the inner cloister garden, where we enjoyed cocktails while soaking in the views over the Empordà wetlands. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay feel extra special, and I must say, the breakfast was divine-so many tasty options to fuel our beach explorations! Whether you're up for a serene yoga session with local instructors or adventurous hikes through pristine nature, this hotel is a delightful haven that truly caters to every traveler.
